Ministry Opportunities
Agony Ride
During this annual fundraising event for Christian Encounter Ministries, bicyclists ride around the Sierra Valley for 24 hours. Saggers are needed to serve the cyclists while they take part in this grueling ministry. You can also sponsor a rider. Please contact the church for more information.
Children's Minisitries
We offer a variety opportunities for children, from Sunday school every week where children learn about Jesus and the Bible, to a week long Vacation Bible School (VBS) every summer. We believe that the children are the future of our church and we welcome then with open arms.
VBS 2010, July 18-23 was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who helped out with this amazing ministry!
Military Minisitry
Ministring to the physical and spiritual needs of servicemen and women. You can help by writing letters, contributing to care packages, and praying for those who are away from their homes and families. Also, if you know a soldier who could be added to the list, let us know. Please contact the church for more information. We have also started a new Adopt-A-Box program for men and women serving overseas.
Meals Ministry
Preparing meals for those in times of trail and suffering, such as during illness or death of a loved one.
Prayer Chain
Seeking the Lord in prayer and petition for those in need. Call the church with prayer requests or to be added to the prayer chain.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love. This unique project of Samaritan's Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions outreach while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas--Jesus Christ, God's greatest gift. Along with shoe box gifts, millions of children are given Gospel booklets in their own languages.
